This institution is run by CDMEA (Cannanore District Muslim Educational Association),a trust formed in 1964 and has been working hard for the educational development of the northern region of kerala, called malabar especially for the educational development of the Muslim Community, one of the major Minority Communities in India.It can never be denied that this Trust has played and still playing a vital role in the radical and enormous development that this region achieved with in a few decades.The foresight and vigour shown by the office bearers of this trust and other leaders has always created innovations and thus the horizon of the trust is going on extended with a variety of new projects and establishments inside and outside the institutions run by CDMEA. Keyi Sahib Training College has a separate Governing Body consisting sixteen members.
